DANG, it's hot in herrr! Like, to the point where walking literally one block equals a giant sweat moustache, runny mascara, and the equivalent red-faceness from an intense 30-minute jogging sesh. It's triple digits out there, people. Luckily, there are some ways to beat the heat and STILL look cute—our favorite way is with an oversized sun hat! Not only does it keep you cool during a scorcher, but it's instant SPF. Plus, it adds a too-cool-for-school '70s vibe to any ensemble in a snap. Check out how three cute-as-a-button (and non-sweaty) fashion bloggers sported their sunny chapeaus!
Deborah Ann Woll in the August 2011 'Vogue.'

Rumors have been SWIRLING about Karl Lagerfeld developing a lower-priced line for Macy's since last November, but after peeping the August 2011 issue of Vogue, it seems Mr. Lagerfeld's line is a sure bet! In their "Steal of the Month" spread, Vogue features True Blood's Deborah Ann Woll (get it!) modeling a floral "Karl for Macy’s" dress with some super-sized frizz and nearly-black lips. Apparently the line will include everything from jeans to gowns and is planned to launch fall 2011 (which is, like, tomorrow). Karl has said, "My concept of ready-to-wear today, at whatever level, is that it has to be as good as the most expensive brand." So, basically if it's anything like his 2004 H&M collab, this "masstige" fashion line will probably be sold out in two seconds flat. Also, with the enormous success of Macy's other collabs (namely Madonna's Material Girl line), it seems like Karl decision to ditch Paris Fashion Week for high-low was a smart one. *Golf clap*

Olivia Palermo in "Shop Til You Drop."

It seems like ever since The City's former Elle accessories editor Olivia Palermo left the small screen, she's been EXTREMELY busy. And we like it! She been gracing the cover of... basically every magazine ever . OK, well not EVERY magazine, but a lot. Even ones from other countries. Her fashionable self seems to be making quite the impression across the globe. On the Australian Shop Til You Drop magazine, Ms. Palermo rocks an incredible Sass & Bide layered leather cutout dress. It gives off a chic reptilian vibe (never thought we'd use those two descriptors together, but hey!) in a way that we're TOTALLY jealous of. Her hair, makeup, and accessories are minimal as to not distract from her killer dress. And, um, girl is CHISELED. Look at that jawline. Modddelll.

If the glow of your computer screen is beginning to burn your retinas for your insatiable appetite for beautifully dressed fashion bloggers, boooooyyy do we have the solution for you. It's called a BOOK. You can, like, actually hold it in your hands. You know, take it to the beach and actually be able to read it under the bright sunlight, unlike your touch screen cell phone. Super amazeballs/famous blogger Jane Aldridge from Sea of Shoes wrote the foreword for the Style Yourself guide, which features outfits from all your fash faves (yes, even Tavi, Karla, and Susie) and offers sound advice on how to cop their looks. Our favorite part though? The "remixes"! Three bloggers are shown sporting a trend in three different ways (JUST LIKE WE DO EVERY WEEK!!), so of course we HAD to pick our favorite looks and share them with you! Buy the entire Style Yourself book for the full experience.
First up: monochromatic. Dressing in one color makes you long and lean, and Style Yourself says to "add lots of texture for visual variety." Zanita Whittington of Zanita wears head-to-toe yellow (daring) with a lemon motorcycle jacket, dandelion pleated skirt, and tangerine stacked sandals. Michelle Koesnadi of Glisters and Blisters took jeans and a tank top to new heights by coordinating her entire outfit (even her bag!) in shades of blue. Justyna Baraniecki of Chichichic! went for smooth dark chocolate brown from top to bottom, which we LOVE. The fur accent is purrrrfect.

There's something about loud, graphic prints that look like they came straight from your mom's old Tupperware collection. A bit of bright design instantly adds punch to any outfit, and summer is ALL about bold, fun colors. Plus, in case you haven't heard, the '70s are BAAACCCCKKK. (Think we're lying? Please note two out of the three lovely ladies above are also wearing floppy hats. So THERE.) We scoured the interwebz to find three fashion bloggers who sported this look in three very different (but all awe-inspiring) ways, and we think you'll fall in love with ALL of them. Because, like us, you have eyes.

HOLLLLYYY SHIITAKE MUSHROOMS. Men. Lots of them. Shirtless. Coming DIRECTLY toward us. While we'd normally avoid mobs of 20+ ripped dudes at all costs, we literally cannot move. Like, we can't stop staring at their Ken Doll lines. Er, Brad Pitt in Fight Club lines. Er, muscle-y hip lines. WHAT ARE THEY CALLED? We need to lock down a name for this IMMEDIATELY because it's quite possibly the hottest. Thing. Ever. How does it happen? HOW DO THE HIPS GET SO RIPPED LIKE THAT? Also, why do we feel sooo naughty staring at them? It's like a big arrow pointing down to their, erm, manly bits. Too much? NEVARRRR.
Sometimes shielding yourself from the sun can look downright ADORABLE. Since this summer is all about florals, maxis, and sky-high platforms, the perfect way to beat those sunny rays is with a '70s-inspired wide-brimmed hat. We scoured the internetz for fashion bloggers who sported their chateaus in such steal-worthy styles that we literally had to chain ourselves to our desks to keep us from running to the nearest thrift shop immediately. Disclaimer: This might happen to you.
There's something sooooo pleasing about cinching an oversize blouse at the waist—it makes every girl appear sleeker and gives her curves the hug that they deserve. But it's also so awesomely '90s that you have to be careful not to go overboard. (We love you Brit Brit, but we're not going for your "Baby One More Time" look.) And that's why we admire how these bloggers kept the belly-baring to a minimum by pairing their blouses with high-waisted long skirts or dresses. This classy combination even inspired us to try this look. Like, we're actually wearing it right now. As we type. All of us. We even pulled out the shirts of our male counterparts and tied them up. As such we're not that popular in the building at the moment but we're more than alright with that. ANYWAY, on to the ladies.
Our dear old Aunt Gaga on the June cover of 'Spex'
Photo: Wolfgang Tillmans/Spex
Whoa. Just when we thought Lady Gaga was incapable of surprising us, she up and appears on German culture and music mag Spex doing the au natural thing like it's NBD. In fact, "surprise" is putting it mildly considering, "mind-frying shock" seems closer to the truth.
But here is what we're reminded of: Gaga is an empirically striking young lady. She has piercing eyes, a wide and expressive mouth, and as our mothers used to say, "When you wipe that stuff off of your face, you really do look much lovelier. Plus, you won't attract those horrible boys you normally do with your misleading harlot appearance." Oh moms...
Nacho Figueras at the Veuva Clicquot Polo Classic at Governor's Island in New York on June 5.
We need to get this out of our system: AHAHAHAHHA. His name is Nacho! WHEWWW. Wow. OK, we're cool. Once you get past his delicious name, it's easy to see that Nacho Figueras basically is the hottest and best-dressed polo player alive. We don't actually know tons of polo players, but SERIOUSLY. He's the living reason why people even study abroad in the first place. We were never really into Argentina... UNTIL NOW. If we were promised endless amounts of suave dudes like this from the MOMENT we stepped off the plane, we would drop everything and catch the next flight to South America. Right now. We would even pretend to like school again because having him as a study buddy would be SO WORTH IT.
But first off, let us draw your attention to what he is wearing. On the surface is a preppy polo player in a seersucker shirt, beige suit jacket (with a nice crisp white pocket square, kudos to that), and white jeans. But if you look realllllyyy close you can see what is really going on with Nacho.
