Style has moved! come with us to mtv news »

Last week, when Le1f performed "Wut" on Late Show With David Letterman and made his TV debut in Hood by Air and actual snow boots, we had no idea that a week later we'd be gifted a video for "Boom." IDK about you, but after watching this video all I wanna do is avoid diners and ride shotgun in a Jeep. It looks like my weekend plans have just been confirmed. We got the deets on the video's fashion, styled by Prince Franco, from the rapper himself, so let's not waste any more time—to the clothes!

A still from Le1f's 'Boom' video.

The video begins outside the diner, with Le1f in not one, but two jackets. Winter 2014 was the winter of two jackets #polarvortex. The first is a Diesel denim jacket, and the other a Pelle Pelle leather jacket. Underneath the two jackets is a black-and-white Y-3 tank that reads "ANTI."

Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber wears pretty much just a Brooklyn Nets hat for the livestream that wasn't.

Hot off his Saturday Night Live hosting stint, Justin Bieber kicked off (or at least attempted to) a live stream Sunday night to "play some new music and answer questions." (The jury's out on whether the "Grammys counter-programming" was motivated by Bieber's snub.) Unfortunately for everyone clamoring desperately to tune in, Ustream crashed at the weight of all that Belieber traffic.

Even though the group video chat didn't end up coming through, Biebsy still uploaded a video of himself revealing a brand new unfinished track called "You Want Me." The best part? Bieber's wardrobe for the video: a Brooklyn Nets cap and... basically nothing else.

Beyonce rehearses for her Super Bowl halftime performance in a "Can I Live?" sweatshirt.

This coming Sunday, Super Bowl XLVII kicks off in New Orleans. For those of you (or, you know, us) less interested in the clash of the Harbaugh brothers, Beyonce's hyped up halftime performance might have you referring to the event as The Beybowl. The only athletic moves you're concerned with are the ones happening in whatever inevitably massive choreography number this photo is hinting at, and the only pigskin on your mind is whether or not Queen Bey will take the stage in leather. Thanks to Bey, the idea of sculpting a snack stadium is no longer your projected highlight of the night. (Though, the stomachache from loading up on too many football-shaped grilled cheese sandwiches may still be the lowest point.)

First things first, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JAY-Z! We hope you and your girl Beyonce are doing it up big today and celebrating all the crown jewels of your empire. Thanks to the intimate behind-the-scenes packages your Life + Times outlet has been creating, we can celebrate right along with you, and this "Road To Brooklyn: The Look" video, which reveals an in-depth view into overhaul and refresh of the Brooklyn Nets brand, is one of our hands-down favorites thus far.

The regular NBA season kicked off this month, and while we're uuuusually more clued in to the everyday happenings of fashion front rows than post-game press conferences, this just might be the year we officially change our tune. We caught the basketball bug late last year thanks to those Finals faux glasses, but add Jay-Z and Beyonce as courtside staples for 2012-2013? We're sold. In honor of Hova and Queen Bey's sporty styles (and the fact that the Carter-Knowles family has been steadily rallying support for the Brooklyn Nets all year), we're kicking off the first of a series of monthly recaps of their courtside outfits. LEGGO!

Jay-Z, Beyonce

Jay-Z and Beyonce watch the Toronto Raptors vs Brooklyn Nets game at Barclays Center on November 3, 2012.

Match-Up: Toronto Raptors vs. Brooklyn Nets
Final Score: 100-107 Nets
On Jay-Z: Solid black t-shirt, tucked-in gold chain, gold watch, camouflage pants, and custom "Brooklyn Zoo" by PMK Air Jordan 1s
On Beyonce: Matching printed Tibi shirt and pants set, two-tone patent Giuseppe Zanotti peep-toe heels, Erika Pena "Obama" earrings
Why We Love It: Bey and Jay are not the kind of couple to go OVERTLY matchy-matchy on you. At most, they'll give a little simultaneous leather action, but you're likely to never see this couple in full-on high school prom (or *achem* Destiny's Child status) coordinates. This doubled-up print situation is about as far as they go, and we love them for that. The way the forest greens of Jay's camo complement the oxblood base of Bey's outfit is very autumnal and feels way better on our eyeballs than, say, this.

Jay-Z wore custom Carter #4 Brooklyn Nets jerseys for the Barclays Center opening concerts.

Usually when an artist like Jay-Z gets something custom-made, it's extremely exclusive, one-of-one, never to be created again. Apparently, that isn't the case with the Carter #4 Brooklyn Nets jerseys Jigga wore throughout his sold-out 8-show inauguration of BK's Barclays Center. Jay has autographed and posted 10 of the limited edition jerseys up for auction through NBA auctions.

Beyonce, Jay-Z

First things first, HAPPY 31ST BIRTHDAY, BEYONCE! We just couldn't launch into a post about Queen Bey (and her King) on her actual B-DAY without a proper greeting. Knowles spent her birthday weekend celebrating at hubby Jay-Z's debut Made In America festival in Philly. Memorial Day Weekend may have been centered around Bey and her Atlantic City Revel show, but Labor Day weekend was all about Hov. Not only did Bey cheer on her boo for the major MIA Fest endeavor, she repped his pet project Brooklyn Nets along with him for an adorably spirited couple-fashion moment.

Jay-Z performs in a leather Brooklyn Nets snapback.

It's true. Jay-Z really can make a Yankee hat more famous than a Yankee can. But when you're at the helm of a massive rebrand for a different sports team - enter the formerly New Jersey, now Brooklyn Nets - it's probably time to switch snapbacks. Even if it's one-of-one with a python overlain brim and gold buckle. *pours a little out for the fallen headgear* For years, Jay-Z has been lending favor via his status as a sartorial tastemaker to the Bronx Bombers, but with the impending opening of the shiny new Brooklyn Barclays Center around the corner, he's switching headgear (LUHHHH that leather Nets cap) and public focus across the river.

I love these two as a couple. What a festive way to celebrate two important events in their life. Mariah looks like a dream.
