'Girls' costume designer, Jenn Rogien, in the show's wardrobe department.

If you've ever watched Girls, you've probably found yourself excitedly pointing at the television, screaming, "HEY, I HAVE THAT TOP! I THINK." And then you undoubtedly rewind, pause, and run to your closet to confirm. "OMG. I DO have that top." *turns to friend, significant other and/or entirety of viewing party* "Told you so." Not to burst your bubble or anything, but we'd guess a LOT of people have picked up some of the very same pieces that Hannah, Marnie, Jessa, and Shosh wear on the show—because the characters shop at some of the very same places as us IRL folk. "They source the clothes and accessories from vintage shops, Urban Outfitters, Etsy, Beacon’s Closet, Bergdorfs, Salvation Army, Strawberry and, like, everywhere in between," The Coveteur dishes in a new, behind-the-scenes interview with Girls' costume designer, Jenn Rogien.

Beyoncé performs on 'American Idol' on May 25.
Photo: Getty Images

• Last night's American Idol finale brought out THE BIGGEST vocal powerhouses (Ms. Beyoncé and Ms. Lady Gaga, of course) complete with uh-mazing performance outfits. Beyoncé NAILED IT in a to-die-for Zac Posen platinum gown while debuting her new single “1+1” and danced to “Crazy In Love” in a Swarovski crystal-encrusted Ralph & Russo dress. Lady Gaga wore a triangular headpiece replete with studs and loose chains, which sort of reminds us of the Tree of Souls from Avatar. Seriously, Google it. {Vulture}

• On her final show ever (*sniff sniff*), Oprah signed off in a custom coral L'Wren Scott dress with a dip-dyed chiffon belt. We think this fresh, form-fitting dress couldn't be more perfect for her last goodbye. The bright color shows optimism for what lies ahead, and HEY! Don't cry! QUICK, look at these photos of doggies in scarves saying inspirational quotes from her show! {Styleist}

Angelina Jolie teams up with jeweler Robert Procop on a line of pricey baubles (think: rings with 12.02-carat green emeralds affixed to them) to benefit Jolie's charity The Education Partnership for Children of Conflict. Oh, and did we say the pieces are pricey? Yeah, they're pricey.{Styleite}

Bergdorf Goodman's holiday windows, entitled "Wish You Were Here" are up, and all we can say is WOWZERS—the fantasy travel-themed displays are beyond intricate. {Nitrolicious}

• If these Bergdorf Goodman holiday windows don't get you into the holiday spirit, we're not sure what will. {HuffPost}

Mary J. Blige in Melodies by MJB.
Photo: Melodies by MJB

Mary J. Blige is highly intertwined in the fashion world, collaborating with designers like Frida Giannini of Gucci and Catherine Malandrino, and even launching a perfume in years past. But now, she is designing something totally different, and so totally Mary: Sunglasses. This month, the R&B singer released Melodies by MJB, a four-style collection of sunglasses that come in a variety of colors for $150 to $250 per pair, available now at Bergdorf Goodman and Nordstrom stores. Each style is named to represent a side of Blige's life: Showtime, Red Carpet, Incognito, and The MJ's (her signature). MTV Style recently caught up with the fashionable musician to talk about her new collection and to find out about her favorite shades ever. Find out what she said below! Read More...

Bottom line: Whether you plan on buying shoes, dresses, coats, (or nothing at all!), shopping is WAY cooler with a little music blasting in your ear.

Caleb Followill of Kings of Leon and Nick Valensi of The Strokes.
Photo: Getty Images

Every rock star seems to live in leather jackets, and we're always wondering where they got them. For Kings of Leon frontman Caleb Followill and The Strokes' guitarist Nick Valensi, now we know: 3.1 Phillip Lim. Both rockers own the same brown motorcycle jacket from the designer's fall 2010 collection (see the original runway look below). And they even wear their jackets to the same event! On August 15, Caleb performed in the outerwear at the Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival in San Francisco, and layered his jacket over an unbuttoned, plaid shirt and white V-neck tee (though, he threw off the jacket during his set). Just one day earlier, The Strokes guitarist Nick Valensi took the stage at the same festival in the same jacket, which he wore with a black tee and jeans. The jacket itself isn't cheap — it sells for $1,100 online at And while Caleb and Nick's jackets are a beautiful shade of brown that's totally fall, the jacket also comes in black for another version of this classic rocker look (which is a mighty fine look, if we may say so ourselves).

+ Who looks better — Caleb or Nick?
