Whoa, whoa, whoa. Can you believe it's time for New York Fashion Week again? And for next fall's clothes? Liiike, it's pretty hard to imagine that in a few months we won't feel the need to cover every inch of our skin for fear of frostbite, but I guess we gotta believe it. I mean, the designs heading down the runway today seem to hint that warmth will visit us again, so we'll trust in them. Fashion has never misled us before, right?

Besides the actual runway looks, though, one of the best parts of any Fashion Week is peeping the celebs who flock to sit front row and cavort with other famous faces. We're not even a full day in and we've already spotted a few of our faves like Coco Rocha, AnnaSophia Robb, and Colton Haynes. AnnaSophia bared the cold in a crop top and a skirt for the Houghton show, while Coco and Colton layered pants, long-sleeve shirts, and jackets for the BCBG Max Azria and Richard Chai shows.

It was a big year for short hair. Models, singers, and actresses all made drastic chops to their 'dos, or at least toyed with the idea. In early 2013, Karlie Kloss' bob was named the haircut of 2012, but this year, stylish women dared to go even shorter. Here are some contenders for the Best Haircut award, though I'm not sure what the prize is. Sorry, ladies.

Jennifer Lawrence

Considering her most popular role has its own signature braid, Jennifer Lawrence's pixie cut was totally unexpected. More expected? How good she looks with a new length. J.Law had long hair throughout awards season, which she wore up, down, and to the side to collect her multiple awards for her role in Silver Linings Playbook.

In April, she chopped her locks off into a lob (long bob, FYI), and in November, she went full platinum pixie. Her Hunger Games: Catching Fire red carpet style has been taking advantage of her hair's bold new ~edge~, and we can't wait to see how she styles her 'do for each award show at the top of 2014.

Dur, collide. This week, the links are all about unbeatable combinations. So much goodness, all in one place!

• Italian artist aleXsandro Palombo hilariously transformed famous fashion peeps into Smurfs. Yep, Karl, Anna, Marc, and a slew of fashion's most wanted were re-imagined as the little pudgy blue cartoons with Phrygian caps! {Humor Chic}

Little Mix revealed how they (unsurprisingly) draw inspiration from two MTV Style favorites: the '90s and One Direction boyfriends. {Fashionista}

• The cat meme ain't over 'til it's over! The internet (and general life) obsession got some new treatment with this fiercely pretty gold ring. {The Cut}

• Happy 100th birthday, T-shirt! In honor of America's fave clothing item, CustomInk rounded up the most iconic tees of all time, including one that has particular sentimental value. *wink* {Refinery29}

• Supermodel Coco Rocha has been swimming in badassery since she became the first model-turned-tech-columnist. Check out her piece for PC Mag, which explains why she might be trading glossies for gadgets. {PC Mag}

Here at MTV Style, we're not under any pretense that the fashion world is shy. But this week it seems like no one wants to hold their tongue!

+ Mick Jagger is a "dandelion," according to André Leon Talley. In his review of The Rolling Stones’ 50th Anniversary concert, the Vogue editor-at-large (amusingly) waxes poetic on the front man's iconic stage presence.

+ Coco Rocha, social media-savvy model du jour, issues her unique perspective the new Instagram Terms of Use.

+ Lena Dunham was just crowned 2012's Coolest Person of the Year, but apparently America's Next Top Model winner Laura James tried to nominate herself?
{via Time}

+ Selfridges, the super awesome UK luxury department store, would actually like you to shut up. Early next year, the retailer is set to launch a SILENT shopping area for customers to peruse in peace!

+ Aaanddd James Franco has just announced that he will be releasing a SECOND book of poetry, entitled Directing Herbert White. The collection apparently takes its title from a poem that Franco composed about a short film he wrote based on a poem by Frank Bidart... Giddy up!

If you follow Kanye West on Twitter, you've probably heard of The Fancy. Not because he's updated his verified account on the Pinterest competitor (*ACHEM* still blank as of August 9, 2012), but because he's promoted it not once but twice to his 8,252,169 followers and hinted at his involvement with the tech start-up. We have no idea how likely or unlikely it may be that you've heard of the website since we live and breath internet vapor, but we'll give you a little run-down anyway. The Fancy combines the visual collaging made popular by Pinterest and Tumblr with the shoppability of Svpply and packages it all together in a winning (and lucrative!) combination that has reportedly piqued Apple's interest. More importantly to us, though, we get to full-on culture vulture on the wish lists of our favorite music and fashion icons via verified celebrity accounts! Along with the pricey cars and high-end wardrobe staples, some of these celebs are fancying some really funny stuff (which we're sure were all meant in jest). To follow are just a few of our findings. Enjoy!

It's hard enough to spot celebrities from afar- but getting close enough to TOUCH them? That's pretty much impossible, unless you're New York designers Bruce and Glen. These twin brothers are determined to get their collection of high fashion slap bracelets noticed, so they've been going around town literally slapping Beyonce, Coco Rocha, and Trey Songz with their awesomely out-there creations. But don't worry, they didn't get slapped back. In fact, the bold marketing strategy is totally working. The designers' eponymous collection of studded, mirrored, leopard and neon accessories is officially bringing back '90s slap bracelets, once and for all.

Coco Rocha for "Vogue Italia."
Photo: Steven Meisel/"Vogue Italia"

We've often wondered why it's taken so long for magazines to get on the ol' web band(width)wagon. Not to be all sassy-pants about it—because believe me, I am OBSESSED with printed magazines—but promoting your issue online in interesting ways is kind of where it needs to be. Yes, we all enjoy seeing an artist or actress looking otherworldly on the cover of a magazine (hi, Adele), but teasing it online or throwing in some behind-the-scenes video or outtakes makes the lead up to the actual issue all the more exciting. Give us a craymazing GIF, however, and we'll go bazonkers bananas. Really, how many magazines have done this? Not many. And how many have done them as well as Vogue Italia just did? This is trailblazing territory! So, YES, look at this insane GIF above. That's Coco Rocha shot by Steven Meisel for the March issue of Vogue Italia wearing loud tropical prints, gargantuan drop earrings, blue and yellow shadowed eyes, and a Twix bathing cap while sipping some sort of fast food beverage she's clutching with mega-leopard nails. You guys, THERE ARE NO WORDS. Also? There's more...

Chewbacca and Coco Rocha on a sweater.
Photo: Courtesy of Coco Rocha

It's no secret that Coco Rocha is one of the funniest models in the biz, so naturally her Oh So Coco Tumblr and Instagram and general online presence are things we keep apprised of at all times because girl never disappoints. Take, for instance, Coco's latest tumbl: a sweater featuring a profile shot of her beautiful mug layered over none other than the infamously furry, non-English-speaking Chewbacca. You may be asking yourself, "Who would ever think to put Coco Rocha and Chewy together on a sweater, and more importantly, why?" If that's the case, we counter with a sharp, "WHY NOT?????" Listen up, guys. This sweater reaches an echelon of AMAZEBALLS so formidable that it will haunt my dreams and waking life for at least the next two weeks, as it should yours. Mere words and capital letters and uncorralled punctuation alone cannot express how viscerally I am coveting this article of clothing. And here is where things get even BETTER (if you can even believe that).
