Style has moved! come with us to mtv news »

As #Brats around the world know, Cher Lloyd's new album, Sorry I'm Late, dropped today and Cher was here on Live From MTV to talk about it and more. So much more. Decked out in a leather and tulle dress from Brian Lichtenberg and strappy silver shoes from Fendi, Cher discussed her worst hair style ever, how she finally find her style after becoming famous, and what she'll wear in the video for "Really Don't Care" with Demi Lovato.

Haim for 'Marie Claire.'
Photo: Marie Claire

I know Haim is strictly a trio, but that doesn't keep me from wishing I could sing back-up or play the tambourine for them. I think our lack of shared genes might be a problem, sadly, but a girl can dream. The band of talented sisters has us all hooked with their stream of infectious hits and even more infectious fashion sense. Their penchant for vintage-rock style shows up in everything from music videos (most recently in "If I Could Change Your Mind") to magazine spreads, and Haim's new fashion profile for Marie Claire is no exception. The trio's leather-and-lace persona is on full display, but we also get to see each member's individual style—a distinction that anyone with a sister can certainly appreciate.

Angel Haze Grimes Harper's Bazaar

Grimes and Angel Haze in 'Harper's Bazaar'.
Photo: Via Harper's Bazaar

Listen, sometimes we just want to see some of our favorite musicians and actresses decked out in THE coolest couture duds, OK? Like, is that so much to ask? Apparently not! Former Vogue Paris EIC Carine Roitfeld made our dreams a reality in the latest issue of Harper's Bazaar by choosing 20 ladies to be featured in her "Singular Beauties" spread. Basically, she rounded up some of our faves (think: Dakota Fanning and Lily Collins) as "an homage to the diversity of women," which was photographed by Mr. Karl Lagerfeld himself. One of our top looks was definitely from Grimes who mixed high and low fashion in the best way possible. She sported a floral Saint Laurent by Hedi Slimane frock with furry Fendi shoes and a backward purple snapback. She turned up her beauty game by wearing a dark burgundy lip against her bright red hair. Rapper Angel Haze worked it OUT in a killer menswear-inspired ensemble. She wore a Giorgio Armani shirt and overalls (!!!) paired with Lanvin oxfords. Oh, and that yellow fur jacket she's standing on? That's Versace.

Daria, Marc by Marc Jacobs

Daria Morgendorffer and a look from the Marc by Marc Jacobs FW12 collection.
Photo: MTV/ Getty Images

Reason #105432 that summer TV rules: our favorite sarcastic, smart, and stylish pessimist Daria is officially back! Starting today we're rolling out episodes of eponymous cult series as part of Retro MTV- the same block of shows that delivers classic faves like The Hills and Laguna Beach. And while Daria's influence over kids of the '90s is a total no-brainer, turns out the Lawndale High School students have inspired the style world, as well. Besides giving tons of easy outfit ideas that you can (literally) wear everyday, Daria, Jane, Brittany and Quinn have also rocked some of Fall 2012's biggest trends.... about a decade before they actually happened. The most obvious example comes from Marc Jacobs, whose Marc by Marc Jacobs collection was stocked with Daria Morgendorffer classics: pleated skirts, combat boots, and thick plastic glasses. When Lindsey Wixson and co. stomped down the runway in utilitarian lace-ups and black frames slipping down their noses, a post-punk soundtrack ringing in the background, the reference came across loud and clear...and we have a feeling Daria would definitely approve.

Mark Ronson.

With his music career, fashion following, and crazy good looks, Mark Ronson is setting the bar really, really high for all the other dudes out there today. But hey, we're not complaining! He clearly knows his stuff. He dropped by MTV back in 2010 to fill us in on his then-bleach blonde hair, men's fashion, and obsession with jazz shoes, and since then the British DJ and musician has cemented his place in our hearts with his audacious style sense. After all nobody can work a pink suit quite like him. For his latest project, the well-coiffed fashion plate and member of multi-talented Ronson clan is lending his face to Fendi's debut men's fragrance. The Grammy winner fronts the campaign for Fan di Fendi Pour Homme, the first cologne produced by the Italian fashion house. According to French VOGUE, the brand wanted someone "both modern and rock 'n roll" who would embody Fendi's view on masculinity. Needless to say, it's a perfect fit.

What is going on with you, Gossip Girl? It's all kinda CRAY on the Upper East Side as well as in Brooklyn, now that Blair (Leighton Meester) and Dan (Penn Badgley) are criss-crossing boroughs in order to figure out the proper way to debut their love affair. Even the parental unit of Lily (Kelly Rutherford) and Rufus (Matthew Settle) can't figure out whether to keep it posh on the UES or low-key in the "718". All of this flip-flopping leads to dastardly results, obvs. While chilling in Williamsburg, Blair and Dan meet a cross-borough literary hipster couple who inspire them to have a "salon" in Dan's loft as their official coming out party. Sadly, Serena (Blake Lively), Chuck (Ed Westwick), and Nate (Chace Crawford) aren't invited, but they show up anyway to stir up trouble.

Serena's newly found cousin Lola (Ella Rae Peck) goes from temporary It Girl to paranoid gossip monger when she figures out Serena's identity. Yes, Serena is still acting as the de facto Gossip Girl, and Lola tries to rat her out but no one believes her. Meanwhile, gossip high-priestess Diana Payne (Elizabeth Hurley) makes a deal with the real Gossip Girl in order to keep a certain secret involving Chuck Bass under wraps. But oopsies! Lola tapes an intimate convo between Serena and Diana that reveals this mega secret to the entire world (and it's a doozy), but is there more to this story? We think so. Also, did we mention this episode features a famous chef, bowler hats as overhead lighting, and the potential demise of a certain couple? If you haven't caught up yet, we won't spoil the rest for you. Check back here weekly for our fashion recap!

Kanye West Fall 2012 Paris Fashion Week

Waka Flocka Flame, A-Trak, and Big Sean all made an appearance at Kanye West's fall 2012 after party.
Photo: Getty Images

Not to be all, "We told you so!" but we totally called it earlier today when we thought Azealia Banks would be performing at Kanye West's second-ever Paris Fashion Week show. Little did we know, we wouldn't be graced with just Ms. Banks presence, but also Waka Flocka Flame, A-Trak, Big Sean, Common, AND Mos Def. Um, did Yeezy go big or what? The rappers took over Kanye's runway space in Paris (which included a racing track around the seats) for an all-out after party that we wish soooo hard we were invited to. *single tear* Luckily, thanks to this thing called THE INTERNET, we were able to scrap together what this fashion-filled event entailed.

Taylor Swift on the cover of the August 2011 'Teen Vogue.'
All Photos Courtesy of Teen Vogue

There is something going on with this Teen Vogue spread of Taylor Swift that is just so flawless, so completely ideal, that if we never saw Taylor on the cover of a magazine again, we'd be OK. It's not that we don't want Taylor to never be a cover girl again, but this moment that Teen Vogue captured is so idyllic, such unbridled adolescence, soooooo nostalgic that we want this to be ingrained in our brainses forever.

What we've got here is a real-deal magazine cover from 1992. This is the stuff we used to steal from our older sisters. Look at Tay's hair: gently frizzy, atop a porcelain complexion and dark, nonlined lips. Then, below, we are treated to a cashmere-blend shirt with a boatneck, showing off just a hint of bling. Taylor Swift: On this cover, you are the most beautiful babysitter we have ever had.

Surprise, surprise (or not really)—the Gossip Girl drama got hot on last night's episode, "Shattered Bass." After being contacted by Raina Thorpe (Tika Sumpter), Jack Bass (Chuck Bass' evil uncle) threatened to destroy Chuck (Ed Westwick). While called by Raina, Jack went behind her back to scheme with her father Russell Thorpe to bring down Chuck. Or so we thought. Jack and Chuck were actually working together to get the truth from Russell, which was that he started the fire that killed Raina's mother. Confused? Yeah, we were too. Moving on...

Complications arose when Charlie Rhodes (Kaylee DeFer) (who chucked her mystery meds mid-episode) was invited by Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley) to the fancy-schmancy Constance Billard alumni fund-raiser. Charlie, obviously in need of her Rx, showed up to the party wearing Serena van der Woodsen's (Blake Lively) Pamela Dennis gold cotillion gown with a Serena-esque ponytail to boot.

Meanwhile, Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) was torn between the men in her life—she continued to worry about Chuck's well-being, while pledging her allegiance to her prince (who she worried would think that her visits with Chuck would come across in the wrong way).

Teeter-tottering on giant platforms is one spring trend we can't live without (especially on a bare leg), and judging from the mile-long pins of Fearne Cotton, Whitney Port and Jennifer Hudson, our favorite starlets can't either. This look has been all over the runway this past fash week, with stacked heels, wild wedges, and even flatforms (think the love child between the former two), and now they're all over the red carpet. British TV presenter Fearne Cotton stepped out in steep sandals from her own clothing and shoe line, and we absolutely ahhhdore the hot peach color. Also hawking her own wares was Whitney Port, who posed in these glittering silver wedges while showing her Whitney Eve Fall 2011 line in Los Angeles. And we were blown away by Jennifer Hudson's sick two-tone purple and pink snakeskin ankle straps that she performed in last week. We're obsessed with the power of platforms, but who stands out the strongest—and tallest—to you?

+ What's behind the jump? See Zoe Saldana in Brian Atwood, Christina Aguilera in Christian Louboutin, Selena Gomez in Giuseppe Zanotti, and MANY MORE in our Hot Celebrity Shoes gallery, which is updated weekly. You are SO welcome.

I love these two as a couple. What a festive way to celebrate two important events in their life. Mariah looks like a dream.
