Two peas in a pod. Who knew?

Um, in case you didn't know—I didn't, #SHAME—Mariah Carey and Donatella Versace are pals. Like, what? British Vogue got the designer to dish on their friendship and more important, IMHO, had her review her fave tracks from Me. I Am Mariah… The Elusive Chanteuse. No, this isn't a dream. This is real life. Unfortunately, D's review leaves us with more questions than answers.
"The first time I met her was at one of my fashion shows."
Umm, excuse me? I need to know much more. What season was this? What was Mariah wearing? What was Donatella wearing? How were they introduced and what saint brought them together???
"Straightaway, she made me laugh, and I knew immediately that we'd be friends."
Mariah tells jokes? I mean, sure, when I saw what she wore on the subway I laughed, but I don't think that was her intention. Maybe it was? Maybe Mariah Carey is constantly trolling us? Similarly surprising, Donatella likes jokes?
Mariah Carey in her subway finest.

For most people, taking the subway is not very glamorous. You're crammed in a narrow box with people who wear huge backpacks and DGAF that, like, three extra people could fit in the space of their bag. Yesterday, four other people and I were prevented from holding onto anything because a woman decided to rest her entire body against a pole at rush hour. In short: The subway is the worst.
Mariah Carey, on the other hand, obviously does not think it's that bad. Maybe it's because she treats it as a luxurious mode of transportation? The elusive chanteuse obviously enjoyed her time on the 1 train late last night, sharing photos from the event (only for Mariah Carey and tourists is riding the subway an event worthy of capturing on Instagram) and describing it as a "joyride" and her look as "#subwayincouture." While normally I try to avoid being on the 1 train at 2 AM, I would've paid to be there for this. Like, way more than the typical subway fare.
Moms are great. They teach you how to do stuff. They tuck you in at night. They fix you soup when you're sick. And they bestow unto you the miracle of life (well, some of the time—adoptive moms, what up!). Moms are a lot of warm and fuzzy things, but "indisputably stylish" isn't a trait that's thrown around a lot. (See: mom jeans.) BUT if your mom is one of the following 9 celebrities, that's another story.
Aside from being super-famous before she was even born (*achem*), Blue Ivy Carter also gets to have one of the most fashionable women in the world as a mother. Mom Beyonce's wardrobe is just as Sasha Fierce as ever, just now with some added hints of maternal goddess.
NO MORE SHIRTS.

If you've had regular internet access for the past year, you've probably been noticing the same trend we have: All the celebs are going shirtless. ALL OF THEM. Granted, the whole concept of going shirtless or topless isn't new. For one, the Shirtless Cover Dude™ has been an integral part of Men's Health's business model for years. And as a rule, dudes baring their chests isn't all that uncommon to begin with, especially as we head into warmer months. Or if you follow Justin Bieber on Instagram (or on magazine racks [or at airport security]).
But the practice of women stripping off their tops—outside of, like, a Playboy magazine—isn't nearly as commonplace. Or at least, it hasn't been until recent days and was perhaps never more prevalent than this week. We thought 2013 was going to be the most shirtless year ever. (I mean, 2013 saw the introduction of Best Shirtless Performance to the MTV Movie Awards!) We were wrong. Gone are the days of being excited/scandalized by the occasional no-bra red carpet ensemble, topless magazine spread, or nearly-nude selfie. These are everyday sights in 2014 and THEN SOME.
While many people put on their Sunday best to celebrate Easter, a number of celebrities got into the holiday spirit in a more playful way: with bunny ears! Beyonce, Mariah Carey, and Rita Ora all accessorized with ears, while Rihanna celebrated in a different way.
Beyonce gets in the Easter spirit.

Beyonce dressed as a glitzy bunny, wearing a gold headband and gold sunglasses with her ears. Easter is the first holiday Bey celebrated with her new bangs and, fortunately, they look great with bunny ears. (Something she actually already test-drove.)
If you even remotely like Mariah Carey, clothes, or IDK Planet Earth, there is a jacket that just came in stock at Nasty Gal that you NEED to know about. The brainchild of notoriously irreverent brand Unif, our new favorite statement piece first came to our attention about a month ago, courtesy of a sneak-peek Instagram, and we've been feverishly refreshing the e-tailer's homepage ever since.
Mariah Carey and Sway.

ICYMI, last night Mariah Carey sat down with Sway Calloway for "MTV First," during which she debuted her new music video, "You're Mine (Eternal)." While Mariah is very much topless in the video, she wore an Azzedine Alaia dress, Louboutins, and black fingerless gloves for the occasion. The lace dress allowed for Mariah to move, whether she needed to direct the lights, sit on her knees, or purposefully block Nick Cannon from Sway's line of vision. The woman can do it all and needs her own reality show right this second. Or at least a 24/7 live webcam streaming straight to me.

If you watched the "MTV First" premiere of Mariah Carey's new video, "You're Mine (Eternal)," you may have noticed mermaid Mimi is totally topless, save a whole lotta glitter. If you're a hardcore Lamb, or just someone who enjoys watching Mariah Carey videos on repeat (guilty), you may have realized this isn't the first time Mariah has bared almost all in one of her videos. In fact, she's done it at least four previous times. For a woman who loves her some clothes (see: her closet on MTV Cribs), she often opts out of them for videos. She's gotta separate her home life from her work life, y'know? Check out all of Mariah's past near-nude video appearances below!

With Valentine's Day still over a week away, you might not have considered what to get for your BF/GF/frand/dog/cat/unrequited crush. There are plenty of options out there (chocolate, teddy bear, jewelry, etc.), but what you actually give doesn't matter, as long as it's accompanied by a cool card. Sure, you could buy the same Disney Princess valentines you gave out to everyone in your class in fifth grade, OR you could step your game up. We've searched high and low on this vast internet for cards that don't suck. Check 'em out below—you still have time to order!
Express your feelings through Kanye West.
WARNING: This card is only appropriate for, like, your longterm BF/GF and/or your mom. Telling someone you love them like Kanye West loves Kanye is a lotta love, and not everyone can handle it. The man has a lot of love for his own genius, so don't give this card out to the guy who makes your coffee every morning. You may love him for one to two minutes per day, but that love does not come close to approaching Kanye's level of self-love.
For most people, Christmas fashion remains the same every year. Something red, maybe something green, an ugly sweater if you can find one, and if you're having a bad hair day, a Santa hat. As we all well know, Mariah Carey is not like most people. As the Queen Of Christmas Style™ (dubbed by a combination of us and this press release), Mariah puts the rest of our holiday swag to shame. Since the release of "All I Want For Christmas Is You" in 1994, Mariah has been a fixture at Christmas concerts, tree lightings, and holiday parades across the United States. While Mimi could easily roll up to each performance and appearance in, like, jeans and a Santa hat, she doesn't. Obviously. 19 years' worth of Mariah Carey Christmas steez is a lot, so we pared it down to her best looks and eras, which are below. Turn on "All I Want For Christmas Is You," press repeat, and pay homage to the Queen of Christmas Style, Mariah Carey.
1994 - 2008: SIMPLE RED AND WHITE ERA
Mariah's first Christmas album, "Merry Christmas," which contained the holiday banger to end all holiday bangers ("All I Want For Christmas Is You"), was released in 1994. Her performance outfits in the following decade and a half were widely varied. In the mid-'90s, Mimi went unusually casual in a snowsuit and jeans and a t-shirt. In the early aughts, she swapped in pants for dresses: she wore tight gowns, taffeta-skirt dresses, and even a mod-inspired mini dress with knee-high go-go boots, all within a limited red and white palette.
