It feels like FOR-EV-ER since we heard the news about Rihanna's fashion reality show debut (it's been six months!), but thankfully RiRi released a sneak peek of her Styled To Rock show this week to give us a little taste of what's to come. The quick rundown is this: Rihanna, her stylist Lysa Cooper, Girls Aloud singer Nicola Roberts and designer Henry Holland are going on an all-out style search for "raw, undiscovered designer talent" in Britain, which will air exclusively on Sky Living HD. During the 10 weeks, the designers will work with different superstars creating THE perfect ensemble and, at the end, *drum roll* the finalists will duke it out to design—you guessed it—Rihanna's outfit for her huge Wireless performance. To put it simply, this show looks amazing.

Not to be alarmist and shrill but: UUUUUM WILL EVERYBODY DROP EVERYTHING AND LOOK AT THIS VIDEO PLEASE BECAUSE I WOULD LIKE TO DISCUSS IT NOOOOOW. It’s the vid for Kat Graham’s “Put Your Graffiti On Me” directed by Benny Boom and obviously I am slightly obsessed with it given that a) the song is a syncopated masterpiece of girl-power anthem-ish goodness and b) Kat’s stylist Brett Alan Nelson is a fuhreaking genius and I can’t even deal with all the streetwear Easter Eggs dotted throughout. AND WELL, HI, I did work at a graffiti magazine for years one million years ago. Anyway, on a scale of one to WILDLY REWARDING, for me it is absolutely the latter.
I grabbed Brett for a chinwag over the phone and we ki-ki’d like banshees and high-fived about the styling at least twelve times because, really, it’s incredibly empowering and SO ’90s in way that is surprisingly fresh and if you’re a huge sportswear and music + fashion dork like I am you’ll just get a such a kick out of it. So from hitting up the 99 cent store for accessories and incorporating sage footwear advice from Jeremy Scott, check out this video look by look and definitely peep the video in a loop as well. Let it get deeeeeeep in your brains.

Yep, you read that headline right—Rihanna is set to star in her first-ever fashion reality show starting this summer! The unnamed series will feature the singer going on an all-out style search for "raw, undiscovered designer talent" in Britain alongside Girls Aloud singer Nicola Roberts. The show, which will air exclusively on Sky Living HD, will feature promising, up-and-coming fashion designers who, over the course of 10 weeks, will be assigned to create outfits for well-known musicians and celebrities. (Um, Project Runway anyone?) The final (and best!) challenge will involve designing the perfect/
unique/amazing stage outfit for THE Rihanna herself. She'll wear the winning ensemble for a Wireless performance in Hyde Park come July, so like, this shiz is for REAL, y'all. RiRi will also act as an executive producer for the reality show that celebrates "the extraordinary talent and creativity in the British fashion scene," according the channel.

Most girls go through some sordid version of the following push-and-pull relationship with the color pink. One minute, it's plastered over everything you own, companies paint their packaging with the bold hue to invoke pleading tantrums of want, and dabbles of pink nail polish find its way onto every accessible surface in your bedroom. Basically, it rules. Then, you reach a certain age, and something turns, spoils inside you, and you reject the color and everything you think it stands for: immaturity, feminine ideal, that ex-best friend who never returned your glitter Barbie Jaguar convertible... *achem* You abandon it. And THEN, more years pass. You try on a bright pink dress as a joke and realize that WHOA, it looks GREAT against your skin. It makes you look way tanner in a healthy and totally natural way. It brings out your complexion's best undertones without a need for blush. It's A. MA. ZING. Annnnd that's why fabulous grown women like Jennifer Lopez, Kat Deluna, and Nicola Roberts wear and WORK hot pink.
