Iggy Azalea may have been born and raised in Australia, but she looked downright country western at the Calgary Stampede in Canada on Sunday night. While her spandex outfit was an Iggy standard—she even wore the same "Classic" top with inverted colors earlier this month—she topped her look off with a traditional cowgirl hat. Our girl loves changing up her onstage style, doesn't she?
Beyonce's On The Run bodysuit designed by Alexander Wang.
There was simply no way Beyonce's costumes for the On the Run tour would be anything less than flawless, but somehow they're shaping up to be even more impressive than we were expecting.
To whip up performance looks fit for a queen, she enlisted a bunch of her favorite designers. Last week, we learned that Michael Costello made a black lace bodysuit for the tour. Now, Bey is spilling the deets on that leather Alexander Wang bodysuit.
Wow. In case you hadn't heard, Usher is going to perform at the 2014 VMAs. We've been thinking about Usher a lot lately, anyway. First of all, there's the "Good Kisser" remix by Disclosure. There's also the collab between Usher, Pharrell, and Nicki Minaj ("She Came to Give It To You") that already seems to be a floor burner. (Seriously, it's so catchy). But the one thing we really can't get out of our minds? That hat Usher keeps wearing.

He's been taking a page out of the Pharrell playbook by resurfacing vintage headgear. And while Ush may have had his raccoon cap since February, he’s been getting some serious mileage out of it. He’s been spotted in the cap while doing press to promote season six of The Voice, during a late night appearance with Jimmy Fallon, and, most recently, at the BET Awards. Where Usher goes, the hat goes. But does that mean it'll make the trip to Inglewood in August?
Last Sunday, when Beyonce and Jay Z tele-performed for the BET Awards from their On the Run Tour, it was a struggle to make out the details of Bey's high-shine splashy one-piece. Well, Queen B must have read our minds because she posted a snapshot of the moment along with a sketch of the design on her website. As it turns out, the bodysuit was created by Michael Costello, and the BET Awards was a pretty appropriate debut for it since Bey first put Costello's name on the nation's radar when she showed up to another awards show in one of his dresses–the Grammys.
But the most exciting part about seeing the garment up close on our computer screens was discovering that Bey has now added the stories behind each outfit next to their sketch on her site. Clearly she knows what the Beyhive wants. Interestingly, the sequined and spray-painted Michael Costello look alone took "three days committed to a fabric search and nine hours of non-stop solo work by Costello."
That's nothing, though, compared to the other On the Run look Costello designed. Like, at all.
Last night on Total Ariana Live, the singer announced that she'll be performing at this year's VMAs. Upon learning the news, our first thought was: YAAS! Our second thought was: What will she wear?!
Though she's no stranger to the spotlight, the former Nickelodeon star has only been making her own music for a year—but what a year it's been! Since performing at the VMAs pre-show last year, Ariana has dropped hit after hit and taken the stage at basically every important event ever. We don't know what's skyrocketed the most in the last 12-ish months—her fame or her style.
Below are a few of our fave looks from Ariana's performances–peep them and then join us in guessing what she'll wear on August 24!

When Ariana dropped "Problem," her destined-to-be song of the summer, she debuted a new swingin' '60s look that appears to take a page from Nancy Sinatra.

Arianators, how you doing? Did you enjoy Total Ariana Live? How's your pulse after hearing "Break Free" for the first time and finding out Ariana Grande will be performing at the 2014 VMAs? Now that we're sure you're OK physically, can we talk about how much you loved Ariana's modern monochrome outfit?
The singer traded her mod performance wear for a blank tank top, flouncy white skirt, and–most surprising–black heels. Too hot for boots, eh, Ari? Her hair was in its trademark half-up/half-down 'do and looked, despite the unrelenting humidity in New York, totally sleek. It swayed with her as she and her dancers had a dance party for the premiere of "Break Free," and made me totally jealous–my hair has been tied back as tightly as possible for days.

We gotta hand it to her: Lady Gaga doesn't always dress in the most ~seasonally appropriate~ manner, but at least the bridal attire she was casually wearing to take a stroll around Montreal made sense—it is wedding season, after all.
Gaga put on her wedding day finest for a surprise performance with Tony Bennett at the Montreal Jazz Festival, where they performed a few songs off of their upcoming album, Cheek to Cheek. Like anyone else, Gaga appeared to have asked herself, "What shall I wear to duet with a legendary 87-year-old crooner?" And the answer was quite obviously a wedding dress. And a floor-length tulle veil. And a crystal tiara. Obviously.
God bless America.
No one is more excited for the Fourth of July—the glorious holiday where everybody shoots off illegal fireworks and eats too many hamburgers in celebration of America's independence—than Ariana Grande.
Yesterday while taping her performance for the annual Macy's 4th of July Spectacular, she took the patriotic dress code to heart by wearing a very festive party skirt in a stars and stripes print that resembled both a flag and the kind of picnic tablecloth your mom uses on the Fourth of July. She paired it with an understated white crop top, her signature top pony, and probably these boots, but we'll all just have to tune in to the performance to know for sure.

If 2014 has taught us anything it's that where there's an awards show, there's Pharrell in an outfit destined to inspire a parody Twitter account. Say hello to @PharrellsUggs, the latest addition to growing group that includes @Pharrellshat and @PharrellsShorts. After winning Video of the Year for "Happy," Pharrell took to the stage in a pair of Fair Isle Uggs. This surprised a lot of people on Twitter but what else would you expect from the person who made shorts acceptable on the Oscars red carpet? Pharrell's just doing Pharrell and staying true to his Etsy-chic, cozy style.

If you watched, like, one minute of the BET Awards Red Carpet coverage, you know it's hot in L.A. The best way to cool down if you're too hot? Forgo a shirt! Just ask Nicki Minaj–she performed at the show in a shirt (IDK if that's what to call it, TBH) made from gold chains. Her hair was long, wavy, and strategically placed. When riding a motorcycle inside you have to take precautions, OK? This is a PG-rated show.
